Have you ever heard of SEMA? It's a fairly esoteric system for measuring how good a software team is. No, wait! Don't follow that link! It will take you about six years just to understand that stuff. So I've come up with my own, highly irresponsible, sloppy test to rate the quality of a softwareâŠ

All in all Nim is fairly safe if you stick to the Nim layer, but since it has 1:1 C/C++ interop you can of course expose yourself to all the bugs that can arise from those languages (either by yourself, or through a wrapper). Nim is also designed to give very little overhead on runtime, which means that the -d:danger compilation switch can be used to turn of all runtime safety checks for extra speed.

While I was leading PKCâs security practice, we did probably 20-30 code security audits, almost of all of them for startups that were just around their Series A or B (that was usually when they had cash and realized that itâd be good to take a deeper look at their security, after the do-or-die focus on product market fit).

isl is a library for manipulating sets and relations of integer points bounded by linear constraints. Supported operations on sets include intersection, union, set difference, emptiness check, convex hull, (integer) affine hull, integer projection, computing the lexicographic minimum using parametric integer programming, coalescing and parametric vertex enumeration. It also includes an ILP solver based on generalized basis reduction, transitive closures on maps (which may encode infinite graphs), dependence analysis and bounds on piecewise step-polynomials. For more information see the online user manual (html) or the complete manual (pdf). For an introduction to the underlying concepts, see Presburger Formulas and Polyhedral Compilation. The barvinok package contains an iscc calculator that exposes some of the operations supported by isl.

klepto extends python's lru_cache to utilize different keymaps and alternate caching algorithms, such as lfu_cache and mru_cache. While caching is meant for fast access to saved results, klepto also has archiving capabilities, for longer-term storage. klepto uses a simple dictionary-sytle interface for all caches and archives, and all caches can be applied to any python function as a decorator.
